HYDROSCOPE (2017)

Interactive viewing device

This sculptural installation was part of a solo exhibition in Luan Gallery, Athlone, curated by Aedín McGinn.

 

The Hydroscope is a simple interactive optical device using glass bowls, water and natural light to create lenses.

 

These simple material could then be used as a viewing device to observe the inverted activity on the twin thoroughfares of the river Shannon and the main road located on either side of Luan's River gallery
